Toledo Bend #2 was a focus on catfish and it was not a bad morning. I rented a canoe and I was out to the cove I found on the first trip.
Two nice channel cats and 5 smaller cats. Nothing fancy just worms, hooks and sinkers. What was unusual was a lot of the smaller cats took the worms as they were heading to the bottom after hitting the water. No delay at all. The bass were not striking at all but a lot of gar were flopping around out in the channel of the cove.
